“Staring at the eyes of a tree” Inkgo Lam Ka Yu’s Leaf Art Exhibition “Staring at the eyes of a tree, it’s the tree that holds a steely gaze, not us.” Exhibition Introduction The exhibition features the artworks created by Leaf Art artist, Inkgo Lam in the first half of 2020. During those quiet but frustrating days, Inkgo worked with a natural element – leaves to express her feelings. She imagined herself as a tree to observe human beings and their karma in the city with the eyes of tree, which were also the intention of Inkgo’s journey in picking up leaves in Hong Kong. Through discovering the hidden message behind the leaf veins, you may feel the spiritual power of trees. 18/6-17/8 at Eslite Harbour City Tsim Sha Tsui |

"Trees beside these architectures in Hong Kong are as sacred as religion; they are watching us.
The energy of trees affect our mental health and emotion which have been involved in many ancient religions and mythologies. Sharing the beauty of leaves can be very healing and can help us reconnect with the sacredness of life and nature." |
